Bound for Glory Series – Robbie E vs. AJ Styles.

Big match for Xplosion.

As always, we start with a tie-up. Series of arm locks and brief reversals. AJ sends Robbie off into the ropes, and a hip toss. And another. Robbie quickly squirms to the outside to avoid a third.

Robbie takes to the count of seven to get back in the ring as AJ laughs, backing away and allowing Robbie E the chance to enter the ring again. Robbie fakes a tie-up and kicks AJ in the midsection, clamping on a side headlock straight after. AJ gets out of it, bouncing Robbie off the ropes and delivering a standing dropkick. Robbie again squirms to the outside and the comforting arms of big Robbie T. AJ’s had enough and flies out of the ring with a crossbody. Robbie T keeps a close eye on AJ, and AJ of Robbie T. AJ attempts to enter the ring, but Robbie T pulls him straight back out, flapjacking him on the floor. Robbie E takes advantage, rolling AJ back in and attempting to unsuccessful pinfalls as we take a break.

Commercial Break.

Right hand and a chop from AJ has no effect on Robbie as he cuts off AJ’s comeback. Snapmare and a headlock. AJ breaks out with right hands and attempts to whip Robbie into the corner, but it’s reversed. AJ floats out of the corner, belly to back, but Robbie E pulls the leg from AJ sending him down to the mat hard, but he’s quickly on the offensive again as he leaps up from the mat with a snap-head-scissors. AJ runs into the corner for a forearm, Robbie E quickly out of the way. Belly to back suplex and another pin attempt unsuccessful.

Lots of time taken by Robbie at the top of the ropes, splash attempt is failed. AJ back up, clothesline, elbow and a spin kick takes Robbie E down. Into the corner goes Robbie, lifts an incoming AJ out to the apron. Forearm from AJ. Handspring forearm from the top rope from AJ. Attempt at a Styles Clash is countered momentarily, but AJ still rolls through into another Styles Clash attempt. This time, Robbie gets a boot in the eye of AJ. Eye rake from Robbie and a Russian Leg Sweep variation. The quick cover only gets a two.

Robbie E, Robbie T and the referee argue about the close two-count as AJ swings wildly with a clothesline. Robbie T manages to grip AJ as the referee falls to the ground. AJ uses Robbie T as leverage to kick Robbie E, then breaking the grip and delivering a Pelé (NOT PAYLAY!) kick to Big Rob. Robbie E briefly grips AJ in a headlock but AJ turns it around and smashes home his Styles Clash for seven points in the Bound for Glory Series.

Winner: AJ Styles via Pinfall.
