TNA Impact Wrestling announcer Taz has a new gig lined up hosting a radio sports show according to this press release by Lacrosse Radio Network:

The Lacrosse Radio Network is very happy to make an announcement this afternoon regarding a new show in the program lineup.

Strong Island Lacrosse Chat with Taz will air every Monday at 2pm starting next week, with former WWE wrestler and current TNA commentator Taz as the host of the show.

The show will have a Long Island flair, but it will talk about all areas of lacrosse, including MLL and NCAA. Network president Marisa Ingemi is very excited to have Taz aboard.

“I was thrilled when this opportunity arose” she said. “I am looking forward to hearing his show on The Lacrosse Radio Network every week. Taz is very knowledgeable about the game and brings in a whole new fan base to the network”

“I’m am very amped about doing a show on LRN, I am a avid lacrosse fan who respects the game and wants to grow the game” said Taz “My guests will range from top level coaches to top level players from MLL & NCAA. It might seemed like a disconnect with a pro wrestling personality, but trust me, it will be entertaining! So, this show will be suited for all laxers & fans worldwide!”

The Lacrosse Radio Network is in an exciting phase, with a Colorado Mammoth show hosted by Bleacher Report writer Shea Haney to be announced later on in the week. Tonight the North American Lacrosse League game between the Kentucky Stick Horses and Boston Rock Hoppers tonight at 7pm.

Strong Island Lacrosse Chat with Taz will begin airing on Monday, March 12th and can only be heard on The Lacrosse Radio Network, the original and only home of all lacrosse on the radio.
