Xplosion – February 8th, 2011

We start off with Jeremy Borash in the crowd, interviewing a fan on when Xplosion airs in the UK, which subsequently wins him a backstage pass.

TNA World Heavyweight Championship Match
Samoa Joe vs. Bobby Roode (c).

Highlights are shown of the match in Manchester, where Samoa Joe, winner of the Maximum Impact Tournament, took on Bobby Roode in front of a red-hot audience. Sadly, not enough of the match was shown to do a good play-by-play on the match, but Joe was technically excellent. Roode won with a mule-kick to the southern region of Joe’s anatomy, with the referee not looking.

Joe was massively over in Manchester. So much so, that he grabbed a flag from ringside, and wore it for a moment, as well as lifting it high as he mounted the turnbuckle after the end of the match.

Highlights Package.

Lots of highlights of the entire tour, including the main event of Manchester and Nottingham’s “house” shows. The highlights sign off with a touching moment of AJ Styles embracing with a young fan at ringside, making her night complete.

UK Interview – Sarah Stone (of Manchester United Television).

Sarah is asked if she had had a good time at the show in Manchester, before being interrupted by Bully Ray, who tells her she has imperfections in her hair, eyes and behind, as well as telling her to stop calling his cell phone at 3am. Bully Ray was wearing a Liverpool jersey (sworn enemies of MUFC) and keeps telling Sarah how much better Liverpool are.

When Bully finally exits, she is asked again if she enjoyed it, with Bully steaming in and saying “call me”, before running off again. Sarah is allowed to say it was an excellent show in the end, that she thoroughly enjoyed it and will be back again.

Part two of last weeks episode, featuring Robbie E, Magnus, ODB and Eric Young.

The guests are asked where their favourite place to wrestle is, while Robbie E has a list of the hottest people in Impact Wrestling. Borash also asks for the panel’s favourite pictures from their phones. (*WARNING* ODB’s is graphic. Kinda.) JB also asks if the guests have ever had a one-night-stand, with ODB’s former fling partaking in an interview. Eric Young doesn’t take kindly to this gentleman having had a date with ODB, and challenges him to a grappling contest.
