Earlier today, Dixie Carter took to her Twitter account to thank the fans for making last night’s episode of iMPACT Wrestling the most viewed episode in the show’s history. Carter confirmed the record-high viewership and noted that this was the most watched episode of iMPACT Wrestling ever. Here is the exact text of her tweet:

Two million viewers on Thursday’s IMPACT WRESTLING on SpikeTV – our most watched episode ever!!! THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!!!

It was widely reported that last night’s show received an average viewership of 2,019,000 – which is about 66,000 more viewers than the February 3, 2011 show. Up until last night, the February 3rd show was the most watched episode in iMPACT Wrestling history.
