UPDATE:

This story appeared earlier on TNAStars.com Eric Bischoff had promoted this account as Hulk Hogans official account. Moments ago messages indicating Hogan and Bischoff were leaving TNA were posted on the account. Those messages have now been pulled and Eric Bischoff claims this is not Hulk Hogan’s official account. We’ll keep you posted as we get more clarity. I have left the original story below intact:

TNA star and professional wrestling legend Hulk Hogan has launched his official Twitter page @realHulk_Hogan.

Some quotes from his new account:

“Wow thanks for the warm welcome brothers it’s much appreciated. Go easy on me I’m just learning twitter”

“Brothers we have a packed show this Thursday for TNA on Spike. You won’t want to miss it. EV2.0 raised the bar but TNA is raising it higher.”

“I will try and answer as many questions as I can, just be patient Hulkamaniacs. I need to learn how to reply later on.”

Hang on, this IS NOT Hogan’s official Twitter. Its a fake. Someone made that account to stir some crap about Hogan and Bischoff leaving. Look it up, its been going on around the internet for like the past 2 hours.

Yes, if you will read the entire story above you’ll see that I noted that Bischoff now claims this account is fake.

When the story ran in the early A.M. Bischoff announced it was the official account. When he later retracted those statements after the controversial comments were made on the Twitter account, we added the additional info.

The story was updated before noon, actually before any other site had broke the “fake” account story.

I should also note to the readers that even thought the “Real” Twitter account was known as of early A.M. this morning, I did not run the original story until it was confirmed by Eric Bischoff as being Hulk Hogan’s official Twitter account.

Joe takes great pains to make this a TNA news site and not a rumor and speculation fest like the majority of sites are. We strive to note when it is pure rumor or pure speculation.

This story this morning was posted as a fact due to Mr. Bischoff’s confirmation. As soon as he retracted the confirmation, I did the same here. But I did leave the original story for perspective. I appreciate Joe’s notes clarifying that even further.

Eric Bischoff definitely needs to go,especially after I saw how he treated and talked to his son, no wonder his son has no respect for his dad, to get respect you have to give it Eric. and apparently you don’t know how to do this or don’t care, therefore you deserve nothing.
