A variety of news sources are reporting that Tommy Dreamer is taking an active role in booking TNA’s “ECW invasion” storyline. The rumor is that Dreamer is working side-by-side with Vince Russo to book the angle and that Brother Ray of Team 3D is helping lay out some of the actual in-ring action. If this is true, it would appear that TNA is trying to be as authentic as possible when it comes to this invasion angle.

Reports are also surfacing that during last night’s tapings when Dixie Carter allowed the ECW guys to use Hard Justice as a platform to say goodbye, Dreamer was crying when he made the request that the show be turned over to ECW.

And finally, there is some word that Dreamer may have suffered a torn MCL as he was pushed off the stage by Brother Ray during Monday night’s set of iMPACT! tapings. More on this developing injury as it comes.
