It has been reported for a while here on Wrestling-Radio.com, as well as numerous other websites, that TNA has an interest in beginning some sort of angle involving various ECW Originals, such as Tommy Dreamer, Raven, and Stevie Richards. Latest reports indicate that this is something that is still being talked about in the company, but no one knows exactly how to structure the angle itself.

It’s being reported that several ideas are being discussed, including the possibility of an ECW-type show to debut on Spike TV as its own separate entity. Numerous sources are stating that it would be in TNA’s best interest to produce and run more original programming on Spike TV so that the company would be able to charge the network more money to produce and run the shows, as well as possibly increase more income for themselves.

In another highly interesting note, it is being said that the discussion for the ECW-type angle is coming at a time when TNA officials are said to be “growing weary” of the influence of Hulk Hogan on the company and Eric Bischoff only serving as a solid on-air character.
