Much like TNAStars.com’s Major Impact column (written by yours truly), TNAWrestling.com has decided to write a “Biggest Impacts from IMPACT!” article each week after the episode airs. Take a look below at the 5 “impacts” that TNA wants you to remember coming out of this week’s episode.

__________

Top 5 Biggest Impacts from iMPACT

Every Friday, TNAwrestling.com will look at the five moments from iMPACT that had the biggest impacts on TNA Wrestling. We will break each situation down and let you know what to expect next week.

5. The Band stripped of the Tag Team Championship
Eric Bischoff started out the show with a monumental announcement. The Band had been stripped of their TNA Tag Team Titles. He then announced there would be a four team tournament to decide the number one contender to face the Motor City Machine Guns for the vacant titles at Victory Road. In the first tournament bout, Ink Inc pulled an upset win over the remaining members of The Band, Kevin Nash and Eric Young. In the second bout, Beer Money defeated Team 3D. The finals to determine the opponents for the Motor City Machine Guns will take place next week on iMPACT, pitting Ink Inc against Beer Money.

4. The Jeff Jarrett/Sting confrontation
Jeff Jarrett came out to the impact zone walking with a purpose on Thursday night. Jarrett wasted no time calling out Sting, who still had a number of unanswered questions on his plate. Jarrett talked about how he did not understand Sting’s motives over the past few months. All the while, Sting laughed and seemed to not care what Jarrett was saying. Jarrett then uttered four words that seemed to resonate in Sting’s mind. He told Sting that the one mistake he made was “you left me standing.” On that note, Jarrett left the ring. The stage is now set for their match on next week’s iMPACT.

3. Angelina Love vows to take back her title
Angelina Love vowed that she would rip through every member of the Beautiful People on the way to winning back the TNA Knockouts Title. She would begin her quest on Thursday night as she took on the Beautiful People’s Lacey Von Erich. Love technically lost the match after DDT’ing Lacey on to a steel chair. The message was sent though; Angelina Love is on a mission. Next week she will take on Velvet Sky and at Victory Road she will face Madison Rayne for the Knockout’s Title.

2. Ric Flair forms Fortune
Ric Flair made quite a statement on this week’s iMPACT when he reformed the legendary Four Horsemen. He rebranded the group with a new name, Fortune. A.J. Styles, Beer Money, Kaz, and Desmond Wolfe all looked on with Flair, in hopes that they would be able to solidify their spots in Fortune. Later in the evening, after an all night “war of words” between Flair and Jay Lethal, Hulk Hogan came out to announce that at Victory Road it will be Ric Flair vs Jay Lethal.

1. Abyss = total destruction
The main event of iMPACT on Thursday night was a three-way match to determine the number one contender for Rob Van Dam’s TNA Heavyweight Title. The match pitted three of the top stars in TNA Wrestling against each other; Jeff Hardy, Mr. Anderson, and “The Monster” Abyss. After a competitive match with no one gaining the upper hand for a significant length of time, all three men got counted out. The match ended in a triple disqualification. As soon as the final bell rang, Abyss snapped. He beat down Anderson and Hardy with his fist, kendo sticks, and threw them around the ring with no remorse. With a crazed look in his eyes, he black hole slammed Anderson in to a pile of broken glass and choke slammed Jeff Hardy off the ramp way through the staging. When Hulk Hogan asked him why, Abyss responded by pointing at Hogan and screaming “YOU!”
