TNA World Heavyweight Championship
Rob Van Dam vs. Sting

Chad’s Thoughts: When Sting returned to TNA as a heel, I was shocked and excited at the same time. RVD has a score to settle with Sting, along with half of TNA. I just don’t think he will get his chance.
Chad’s Prediction: Sting becomes the new TNA Champion!

Dillon’s Thoughts: As has been a trademark for TNA, their once again giving us a match with two stars we never thought we’d see.
Dillon’s Prediction: Tough one. I’d like to see RVD retain and have a long reign as champion. But I also want to see Sting win, as TNA has established that when you’re champ, you have clout & pull. And with Sting feuding with the power players in TNA (Dixie, Bischoff, Hogan, Jarrett) it would create a balanced power struggle much like Stone Cold’s first reign as WWE Champion. But I’m going with RVD to retain.

Jarrett’s Thoughts: Everyone was saying that RVD/AJ was going to be the best match AJ ever had and it wasn’t. I really want to see another RVD and AJ match, but I don’t want heel Sting to lose any heat, so I guess I’ll go with Van Dam to retain
Jarrett’s Prediction: Rob Van Dam retains

Joe’s Thoughts: For me, this feud has only become “fun” to watch in the last few weeks. The whole “deception” thing with Sting is pretty interesting.
Joe’s Prediction: RVD wins, but gets destroyed by Sting

TNA X-Division Championship
Douglas Williams vs. Brian Kendrick

Chad’s Thoughts: I am excited to see this match! Both wrestlers have incredible talent and will provide a must see experience.
Chad’s Prediction: Brian Kendrick gets the win and the title!

Dillon’s Thoughts: Although I didn’t care for the stripping of the title from Williams over the volcano situation, glad to see he’s champion again and TNA is continuing his storylines about how the division should just be about spots. Reminds me of the WCW days when Dean Malenko was Cruiserweight champion. And Brian Kendrick is yet another former WWE star who was stuck in a comedy act/bad gimmick but will be given a chance to shine as the athlete he is in TNA.
Dillon’s Prediction: Kendrick could win the title & be an excellent champion at any time but I want to see more of Douglas Williams as the champion that wants pure wrestling title defenses. I’d love to see an equally sound technician come in and beat him at his own game. So I’m going with Williams to retain.

Jarrett’s Thoughts: I don’t know what to think. Douglas Williams has been doing very little wrestling lately, I forgot he was the champ. But I think that he’s going to lose to start a push for Kendrick
Jarrett’s Prediction: Brian Kendrick wins the title

Joe’s Thoughts: I’m a fan of Douglas Williams with or without the cocky British wrestler gimmick. The man knows how to work and he puts on a good act in the ring each time he gets out there. Same for Kendrick, though I think TNA needs to do more to build Kendrick’s character.
Joe’s Prediction: Douglas Williams

TNA Knockouts Championship
Madison Rayne vs. Roxxi

Chad’s Thoughts: I don’t really have too much of an opinion about this match, I don’t like the “new” and unimproved Roxxi and Madison isn’t on my list of favorite things.
Chad’s Prediction: Madison Rayne retains her title.

Dillon’s Thoughts: Glad to see Roxxi back in her 23rd stint with the company *sarcasm* Im a fan but she’s all over the place. She went from creepy voodoo queen to hardcore foul-mouthed b*tch to now flustered girl squealing with happiness to even be on TV.
Dillon’s Prediction: I can see Rosie Lottalove costing Rayne the title. What better way for Madison to lose her title than by interference from someone like Rosie? Roxxi can move on with the title in other feuds while TBP wage war with Rosie. Roxxi wins the strap.

Jarrett’s Thoughts: Your putting Roxxi who just returned to the company to face the champ, who’s only winning singles match on TV was last PPV. Really uninteresting to me, but Roxxi can wrestle so it will be a decent knockouts match
Jarrett’s Prediction: Madison Rayne retains

Joe’s Thoughts: I’m glad that Roxxi is back since she’s one of the women who personify the Knockouts division. Now if we can only get ODB and Kong back… Anyway, I think that Roxxi performs excellently in this match, but doesn’t take the strap home (yet).
Joe’s Prediction: Madison Rayne

Monster’s Ball Match
Abyss vs. Desmond Wolfe

Chad’s Thoughts: After an intense feud between these two men, one result ending with Abyss’ acquisition Chelsea, I think it’s time Desmond Wolfe gained some ground.
Chad’s Prediction: Desmond Wolfe wins this one.

Dillon’s Thoughts: I pretty much lost interest in Abyss when he stopped being the silent monster and while Wolfe came in hot, he’s been regulated to jobber status despite the fans voting in TNA’s ranking polls that Wolfe deserved the push/rub that Abyss was getting. So now we have the top ranker vs the low ranker as voted on by the fans. The man the fans want pushed vs the man Hogan wants pushed. The outcome should be interesting.
Dillon’s Prediction: Abyss bleeds, Chelsea teases a swerve by showing sympathy for the monster, then helps Wolfe gain a much needed win.

Jarrett’s Thoughts: Abyss has been in all of the Monsters Ball matches, but I like the new heel Desmond Wolfe that has been shown in recent weeks. Despite this I feel Abyss will come out on top
Jarrett’s Prediction: Abyss wins

Joe’s Thoughts: Abyss won last month’s pay-per-view match, so I think this one goes to Desmond Wolfe. However, I’m looking for the inevitable (yet completely obvious) turn by Chelsea during this match.
Joe’s Prediction: Desmond Wolfe

A.J. Styles vs. Jay Lethal

Chad’s Thoughts: Two extremely talented individuals are going to honor the fans with what may be one of the best matches of the evening.
Chad’s Prediction: AJ Styles wins!

Dillon’s Thoughts: Personally I think Lethal vs Flair & Styles vs Kaz would have been better, but maybe those matches will come later. This match will be a flashback for old school TNA fans and will athletically steal the show, or come in a close 2nd place to Angle vs. Kaz.
Dillon’s Prediction: I can see Flair getting involved, a backfire happening and Lethal getting an upset. It could set up a promo in the near future from Lethal about how he beat the protege (AJ) and now he wants the teacher, setting up Flair vs. Lethal.

Jarrett’s Thoughts: This is a case of why is it AJ and not Kazarian in this spot, but I’m sure this will be a great match. Somehow I have a feeling Flair will screw it up for AJ (intentionally or not) so I’m going with that
Jarrett’s Prediction: Jay Lethal wins

Joe’s Thoughts: Jay Lethal is one of the most entertaining performers in all of professional wrestling, period. He moves fluidly from a Randy Savage gimmick to a Ric Flair gimmick all while building the talent that is Jay Lethal. That said, I’m a mark for A.J. Styles and for my money, he’s the best wrestler in the business today.
Joe’s Prediction: A.J. Styles

Kurt Angle vs. Kazarian

Chad’s Thoughts: Another great matched that we are blessed to see. I love both wrestlers, Angle trying to reinvent himself while reaching for the top once again will give him the boost he needs to take this one.
Chad’s Prediction: Angle wins a well fought battle!

Dillon’s Thoughts: A treat for wrestling fans. I personally love it when Angle mixes it up with the smaller guys like AJ, Lethal, his recent match with Amazing Red, and now Kazarian. While Kaz isn’t main event yet, I’m sure just as many people are ordering the PPV for this match as much as for Sting vs. RVD.
Dillon’s Prediction: Kurt obviously since his quest to the top can’t end just yet.

Jarrett’s Thoughts: Kurt Angle is one of those athletes that can bring out the best in anyone, but I don’t see why Kazarian gets a shot at Angle on TNA’s anniversary PPV. The result with this isn’t really hard to figure out
Jarrett’s Prediction: Kurt Angle wins

Joe’s Thoughts: Kurt Angle wouldn’t have been started in this “taking out of the top ten” storyline if he didn’t win each of his matches. While Kazarian is a great performer, I can’t imagine he wins this one. Besides, we may see an A.J. Styles run-in during this one.
Joe’s Prediction: Kurt Angle

Jeff Hardy & Mr. Anderson vs. Beer, Inc.

Chad’s Thoughts: I am becoming a huge fan of Mr. Anderson, not because he has had a change of heart, but because he is freakin’ hilarious. I think his moronic comments and acceptance of being just an asshole, leaves me wanting to see more. Now I don’t know how long this “union” between him and Hardy will last, but I think they are safe for tonight.
Chad’s Prediction: Hardy and Anderson win!

Dillon’s Thoughts: Huge fan of all four men. The Hardy/Anderson pairing is strange but who wants to see the predictable all the time?
Dillon’s Prediction: Hardy & Anderson to please the creatures & the a*holes in the Impact Zone! Their gaining steam and Beer Money won’t suffer if they lose. However I do think Beer Money should be Tag Champs at the moment.

Jarrett’s Thoughts: Ah, the “idiot and the asshole” vs. Beer Money Inc. This should be very interesting. The Hardy/Anderson… Anderson match from Sacrifice, in my opinion is good, so I’d love to see what they can do tagging
Jarrett’s Prediction: Jeff Hardy and Mr. Anderson…..Anderson wins…wins

Joe’s Thoughts: The alliance between Jeff Hardy and Mr. Anderson will definitely be short-lived since I think we all see the eventual double-swerve coming up. That said, I think that Hardy and Anderson have the edge during this match and I expect the “assholes” in the crowd to pop huge for Anderson.
Joe’s Prediction: Jeff Hardy & Mr. Anderson

Matt Morgan vs. Hernandez

Chad’s Thoughts: I am so sick of Matt Morgan(s). I hope that Hernandez knocks one of the Matt(s) out for good!
Chad’s Prediction: Hernandez gets his revenge and the victory!

Dillon’s Thoughts: I like both men and loved how TNA seemed ready to put both in the main event, but hated that they instead cooled them down. I’d have put Morgan or Hernandez in the top spot Abyss had recently.
Dillon’s Prediction: I think both men will shine, Morgan slightly more, but SuperMex will finish the revenge job he started on Impact. Then I’d like to see more of the Hogan/Morgan exchanges.

Jarrett’s Thoughts: This whole Morgan looking for a tag partner has gotten me to a point where I don’t care for the buildup, but feel it will be a decent match
Jarrett’s Prediction: Hernandez gets his revenge and the win

Joe’s Thoughts: In some respects, this match seems thrown on us too quick with not enough build up. That said, if this match can mark the end of the “we” gimmick for Matt Morgan, then I’m all for it.
Joe’s Prediction: Hernandez

Brother Ray vs. Jesse Neal

Chad’s Thoughts: As much as I am also sick of Brother Ray, I kind of want to see this match. I think it’s going to lead to a bigger storyline which may end 3D, for a minute at least.
Chad’s Prediction: Brother Ray slaughters Jesse Neil for the sake of a greater good.

Dillon’s Thoughts: If anything I think this should have been the Monsters Ball match. I think it’s going to be violent, and Rays reputation for being stiff will come out here to help add realism to the match.
Dillon’s Prediction: I think Jesse will get the win. I can see Brother Ray looking for D-Vons help hitting a 3D or something, only to see him fighting with Shannon Moore. Ray turns around, walks into a spear and Jesse gets the win. Ray then destroys him and we’re teased about a Team 3D split.

Jarrett’s Thoughts: This could be a good match, but honestly, I could care less. Brother Ray is a tag team wrestler and Neal is just Neal
Jarrett’s Prediction: Brother Ray wins

Joe’s Thoughts: Brother Ray is a bore and has been for the last decade. I think it’s time to put Team 3D out to pasture – they have nothing left to do in TNA (or any wrestling organization) so each minute they’re on the screen is one less minute that a young up and coming talent gets featured. This match should go to Jesse Neal so he and Shannon Moore can continue gaining some steam, but I have a feeling that Ray takes this one.
Joe’s Prediction: Brother Ray
