Last Thursday’s episode of TNA Impact on June 3 averaged a 0.87 rating for both hours.

The first hour was boosted by an above-average 0.99 rating in Q1. The second hour was boosted by a 0.93 rating in Q5, followed by numbers right at or slightly below the show’s average the rest of the show.

First Hour
After Q1 opened with the 0.99, the show dropped 20 percent in Q2. The first quarter-hour of the show featured plenty of star power with Hulk Hogan, RVD, Sting, Samoa Joe, Matt Morgan, and Eric Bischoff. Q2 then featured new TNA Knockout Rosey Lotta Love vs. Roxxi. The match certainly didn’t carry the audience, but it’s worth noting there were two commercial breaks in Q2.

The show rebounded slightly to a 0.87 in Q3, then dropped again to a 0.83 in Q4. The Q4 drop is really interesting since that segment featured the big Ric Flair and Kurt Angle mid-ring talking segment. Q3 featured X Division action with A.J. Styles vs. Jay Lethal vs. Kazarian.

Second Hour
The second hour opened with a one-tenth ratings increase to the 0.93 rating in Q5. The segment featured Mr. Anderson and Jeff Hardy’s verbal exchange with Beer Money.

The rating dropped again in Q6 to right about the show’s average, then stayed about the same in Q7. Those quarter-hours featured the individual Hardy vs. Storm and Roode vs. Anderson singles matches stemming from the verbal exchange.

The final 15 minutes of the show drew the lowest quarter-hour rating in the second hour. The show’s opening segment (0.99 rating) built to the main event four-way match (0.83 rating), which turned out to be a non-title match featuring TNA World Hvt. champion Rob Van Dam.

Q8 also featured Rob Terry & Abyss vs. Desmond Wolfe & Orlando Jordan, which could have impacted the rating before the non-title RVD vs. Sting vs. Morgan vs. Joe main event.
