Celebrity wrestler Hulk Hogan is breathing a sigh of relief after doctors gave him the all clear following fears they had found an abnormality with his heart.

The star was undergoing tests in preparation for a back operation he has scheduled for later this year when medics thought there was a problem with the electrocardiography (EKG) reading of his heart activity.

A “very worried” Hogan was referred to a cardiologist and underwent further tests at a medical center in Florida – but he was relieved to discover there was nothing wrong, reports TMZ.com.

Hogan, real name Terry Bollea, is expected to proceed with surgery on his back in the coming weeks.

The sportsman previously underwent major laser surgery on his spine last summer after collapsing on his daughter Brooke’s reality TV show, “Brooke Knows Best.”
