TNA is scheduled for a house show on September 24 at the former ECW Arena a/k/a The Arena in Philadelphia, according to The Arena’s schedule.

TNA previously held the Lockdown 2009 PPV in Philadelphia at the Liacouras Center on-campus at Temple University.

TNA’s roster currently features several former ECW Originals, including new TNA World Hvt. champion Rob Van Dam, Team 3D, Rhino, Raven, and Taz, that could lead to the September event being marketed as an ECW Reunion show.

TNA’s ties the Original ECW also include announcer Jeremy Borash, who produced the “Forever Hardcore” documentary
in 2005 covering the history of the ECW Arena. The DVD was released in conjunction with the “Hardcore Homecoming” ECW Reunion show tour.

The tour was launched at the same time WWE promoted their version of an ECW Reunion at the One Night Stand PPV in 2005. One year later, WWE created the ECW brand that was shut down earlier this year.
