Below is an overview of last night’s ratings from Pro Wrestling Torch:
Looking at the quarter-hour ratings, last night’s TNA Impact averaged a 0.95 rating off a first hour 1.00 rating and second hour 0.90 rating (opposed by WWE Raw).
The rating was rounded up to a 1.00 in the initial ratings report, but the show is slightly below the 0.99 rating from the March 8 official Monday night debut.
The show peaked in Q3 with a 1.04 rating for talking segments with Ric Flair. The segment was sandwiched between 1.02 ratings in Q2 and Q4.
After the final 15 minutes of the unopposed first hour averaged a 1.02 rating, Q5 up against the beginning of WWE Raw dropped to a 0.82 quarter-hour. TNA featured the end of Jeff Hardy vs. Rob Van Dam while WWE opened with Triple H’s opening monologue and interaction with C.M. Punk.
TNA lost 20 percent of the audience at the start of the second hour, but rebuilt the audience to a 0.95 quarter-hour rating in Q6.
TNA then lost 8.0 percent of the audience in Q7 before rebuilding again to a 0.94 quarter-hour in Q8 for the conclusion of the RVD vs. A.J. Styles TNA World Title match.
The big main event title match didn’t have quite the jump TNA would have preferred for giving away a free World Title change to a big-name babyface, but the final quarter-hour finished higher than the opening quarter-hour of the show.
