“I saw TNA’s newest signings The Young Bucks against The Motor City Machine Guns at Universal Studios Orlando. They reminded me of The Hardy Boys.
Originally from Montebello, Calif., this is a brother tag team of the future.
The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) are agile, fast-paced, aerial advocates. They took some solid bumps and delivered some quick, double-team style punishment.
Older brother Matt — Hardy — I mean Jackson, 24, has dark hair. Jeff — I mean Nick, 20, is blonde. The brothers started their own backyard group with youngest brother Malachi — in Cameron, N.C. — I mean Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. With help from his family and brothers, Matt later opened his own indie wrestling group — OMEGA — I mean High Risk Wrestling.
Credit the Motor City Machine Guns and the referee for helping them look good enough to sign. Several impressed TNA stars sat ringside to watch the action.
You can tell by their ring attire and moves, the Bucks bring some Midnight Rockers’ flare. Marty Jannetty, one-half of The Rockers, gave them some training.
The Bucks had a sip of coffee with WWE. Matt appeared on SmackDown in October 2008, going through a table courtesy of the Big Show. The Young Bucks portrayed Shawn Michaels and Triple H in a segment where they were destroyed by Morrison and The Miz on WWE’s ECW.
They also competed for Ring of Honor, Chikara, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla and Japan’s Dragon Gate. Don’t know when The Young Bucks will debut for TNA, but when they do, get ready for some excitement.”
