Major Impact: Fallout from Victory Road 2007
Added on Thursday, July 19th, 2007 at 1:35 pm to Opinion Columns by Joe Vincent

TNAStars.com Presents Major Impact!

Hello again everyone! So Victory Road is over and Samoa Joe left the pay-per-view with both the X-Division and Tag Team Championships!

Lots of fun moments on Impact this week, not the least of which was the first match for Triple X in 4 years. I’ve always been a fan of Senshi, so getting to see him in a match is always nice. It is also worth mentioning that the storyline between Kaz and Raven has been played up very well and progressed very well. Good job on that one…so far!

For all of the fun that this match was, there was also some completely stupid wastes of television time. For example, the whole Team 3D attacking Mike Tenay and Don West was a huge waste of time. It was dumb and it advanced nothing. Boring, dumb, useless…

I could have also done without the gratuitous shots of Kurt Angle with nothing but a small piece of cloth covering his bean bag. Gross.

Roxxi Laveaux? What the hell is this? I’m not saying I’m pro or con Roxxi, but I’d like to know more about what is going on here…

Oh, anyone else think it was sorta weird to have Tomko walking around with his IWGP title? Weird.

Anyway, the major impact moment of tonight was the agreement between Kurt Angle and Samoa Joe to headline the Hard Justice pay-per-view with all of the belts on the line. That’s the IWGP World Championship, the TNA World Championship, the X-Division Championship, and the TNA World Tag Team Championships. Should be a hell of a match!

Quote of the Night:
“Hey! Were you looking at my package?” – Kurt Angle scolding Jeremy Borash for looking at his package
